Spiketrap Custom Reports Tool
The challenge was to enable users to create highly customizable reports with the flexibility to target an unlimited number of products and use extensive queries and keywords for text matching. This was to cater to the needs of a major client who specifically requested this capability.
User Needs and System Design: I led numerous discussions and interviews with engineers and product managers to define the core requirements and understand how users would interact with the report creation tool. We needed a system that could handle complex inputs while remaining user-friendly.
Visual and Functional Design: To enhance the user experience, we designed a dedicated visual dashboard for each custom campaign. This dashboard consolidated all platform features into a single interface, allowing users to filter results by any data point and source from our expansive knowledge graph.
Design System Utilization: The development of the feature was streamlined by implementing our newly introduced design system and assets vocabulary for Spiketrap 3.0, which provided consistent guidelines for color, typography, and layout, as well as a library of pre-designed components.
